Thanks for the info.  I will try to give it a spin today.  (BTW, b118 should be 
b108, but I think it is quite obvious.)

Since you are with the desktop development team, I was wondering whether we 
have any liaison who works with OpenSolaris.org?  I installed the OOo 
3.1-beta2, but could start it.  The error message:
