Project Description: Gnome-eog-plugins is a collection of plugins for use with the Eye of GNOME Image Viewer. The included plugins provide a map view to show where the picture was taken, display Exif information, Zoom to fit, etc. (Refer to section 4.1 for a complete list of plugins.) 4. Technical Description: 4.1. Details: This package includes following plugins: Map Displays where the picture was taken on a map in the side panel. For this feature to work, the pictures must contain geolocation information in their EXIF tags. Python Console A python console for Eye of GNOME Slideshow Shuffle Shuffles the photos in slideshow mode Zoom to fit image width Adjusts the zoom so that the image's width fits into the window Exif Display Displays a few camera setting Exif tags in the sidebar and optionally the statusbar. A histogram can also be enabled which used to graphically summarize and display the distribution of a process data set. Send By Mail (send-by-mail) Opens a new email in the default email editor and attaches the selected images to the mail. There is an additional plugin included in the gnome-eog-plugins called "Postr". This plugin depends on the Postr client (Flickr uploading tool for the GNOME desktop). The desktop project does not yet provide this dependency, and the upstream community plans to remove this plugin from the gnome-eog-plugins module. Therefore this plugin is not delivered into OpenSolaris. This proposal adds gnome-eog-plugins to OpenSolaris. This proposal seeks Minor release binding. 4.2.
