Integrating a single case piecemeal is undesirable, as it causes

RELEASE BINDING
The project team asks for Micro/Path release binding
Changing the default would typically not be appropriate in a Patch as it
constitutes an incompatible change. Again, I'd suggest reviewing that
separately, as the selector is likely appropriate for patch binding.
