I want to add a new file in the libc hierarchy. I am working with SPARC, but this file is ISA independent, i.e there is no any difference in the source code between the sparc version and the sparcv9 version. I have placed this source code file in the libc/sparc/gen directory and changed also the Makefile in libc/sparc. I am wondering wheather I need to have it also in sparcv9. If I choose not to have it there will the top level libc Makefile take the sparc version for building the sparcv9 version?
