I don't know where to rightly ask this, since I didn't see any PostgreSQL specific subforum, so here goes:
1. are there any plans to deliver 64-bit versions of PostgreSQL libraries with (Open)Solaris? If yes, by which build? 2. is there a document detailing which Sun Studio switches / optimizations were used when compiling PostgreSQL for (Open)Solaris? If yes, where is this document? I'm currently building the latest PHP on sparc (well, the dependencies for it). The problem is, I want to link my PHP against Oracle, and Oracle on sparc is 64-bit only, which means ALL libraries must be 64-bit. Since I also want PostgreSQL support, I need 64-bit PostgreSQL libraries as well...
