Hello friends:
I can't install OpenSolaris 2009.06 on my DELL xps720 due to "nv_sata" attach
issues.
Basically the "nv_sata" driver won't attach unless I reconfigure the disks to
be under the
control of the internal RAID controller (which would destroy data already in
place).
No good.
The specific error shown is this:
WARNING: attached failed: RAID mode not supported nv_sata0 attach failed.
I first reported this problem back in December 2007 (nv77). Here's a link to

information.
I'm dying to install OpenSolaris, but this particular OpenSolaris
"nv_sata/RAID" bug
still remains.
Any chance of it getting fixed soon? Really appreciate it!
