The milk is spilt; there is little point discussing the issue any further. In real terms, the only machine to be dropped is the Ultra-1; faster CPUs are available very easily for Ultra-2 and beyond.

May I suggest that a good use for your Ultra-1s is keeping a test platform for your legacy Solaris 9 applications?
