That was one of the questions I hoped to get answered with this thread ;) "What do you think / Do you know, how much % of the zfs code needs/needed to be rewritten ?" Anyway I doubt it will be easy, but we would need a ZFS + Linux Kernel expert to answer this question more exactly.
