Solaris 10 Pre-Installed I think everyone who has built computers for him/herself will be very impressed with the design and the pricing (especially after you consider that the price includes a three-year warranty). Amazing, isn't it? A more complete datasheet can be found at: http://www.sun.com/servers/entry/x2100/datasheet.pdf Slashdot and perhaps at least one review article made an error in describing that the Galaxy has only USB 1.1 ports. According to the above-cited datasheet, the Great SUN Galaxy has 2 USB ports in the front, 4 in the rear, for a total of six USB ports. All USB 2.0. Also, none of the review article mentioned the the Galaxy includes a 64-bit PCI-Express slot. Truly amazing, isn't it? Some hobbyists may want to use quieter, but more expensive, fans. Understandably 60 dB is OK in a server room. But this is an area that a Study Blog can make things interesting.
