Here's the new website content guidelines. An early draft was published
on the CAB discuss list a couple of months ago. This will be published
on the site when the new TOU is issued. Any issues, let me know.

OpenSolaris Website Content Guidelines
* General Information
- The OpenSolaris Website Content Guidelines are published by the
OpenSolaris Program Team.
- opensolaris.org is a community website. The content on the site and
within the site's mail lists should consist of only relevant information
and discussion about OpenSolaris.
- These guidelines are to help users contribute to the community and use
the resources available in the intended way. The OpenSolaris Terms of
Use and Privacy Policy [insert links] cover the legal aspects of
opensolaris.org, and community members are encouraged to consult these
documents.
* Individual Communities
- Each community drives its own content and is responsible for
populating its pages and adhering to this policy and the TOU.
- Communities can link to resources outside opensolaris.org as long as
the TOU is followed.
- New communities can be requested by posting a proposal to the discuss
list for evaluation and comment by the community and the OpenSolaris
Program Team.
* Main OpenSolaris Pages
- The OpenSolaris Program Team will evaluate and post content to the
main pages and any sub domains. Content on the website and email aliases
should be focused on developer issues, related technical content, and
other ways to contribute to the OpenSolaris community.
- The Related Links page will be updated via requests made to the
discuss list for community feedback. Requests will be evaluated and
updated by the OpenSolaris Program Team.
- The external News and OpenSolaris Events pages will be updated by
participants in the marketing community.
- The Announcements page is for major and/or project-wide news.
Community members may make announcements by sending mail to the announce
list where it will be distributed to the community, archived, and, upon
request, evaluated by the OpenSolaris Program Team for placement on the
main Announcements page.
- To add blogs, make a request to add-my-blog at sun dot com with your
name, blog link, and blog feed.
- Suggestions for content changes to other parts of the site -- such as
Project Overview, FAQ Center, Roadmap, Site Map, Events, and any sub
domains -- can be made via the website-discuss list.
- Website feature requests can be directed to the website-discuss mail list.
* Projects
- The website does not currently support development projects, but this
policy will be updated to reflect project plans as they become available.
* Content Review
- Technical articles for the Articles page require review. The article's
sponsor drives review of the document for technical accuracy, and guests
that the OpenSolaris Program Team publish the article on the Articles page.
* Dispute Resolution
- We shall follow the Community Advisory Board's dispute resolution
policy when published. If disputes occur before then, they will be
resolved by the OpenSolaris Program Team.
* Updates
- This policy will be updated regularly to reflect changes in the
community or the program. The policy may also be updated when the
OpenSolaris Charter and Governance is ratified.
- End -
