Note that I would like to create a OpenSolaris distro that is binary
compatible with Sun Solaris. Not having the pkg* tools is a big handycap.
What is the status on source for these tools ?

Hi Dennis,
I just got back from vacation and am starting the cleanup on the pkg*
tools today. So far, all I've gotten accomplished is reading the email
that says "steve - can you start the cleanup of the pkg* tools", so I've
no idea how long it'll take me. ;-) I'll post regular updates to my
blog though if you want to monitor my progress.
