OK, this might be a crazy suggestion but how about getting someone from Sun legal involved with the community? It would be nice to get their perspective on the whole opening of the Solaris code base and tell us what they can about what is going. In my mind the biggest obstacle for openSolaris compared to other open source projects are the legal issues. Right now the community kind of has a negative view of "the lawyers" but in actuality they are probably doing their best to protect the whole thing from the likes of another SCO. All the "legal" issues all seem like some kind of black box and I don't think it has to be like that. I would even be willing to do an article for the content project with an interview with someone from legal. I can see why they might be afraid to show themselves around here just yet...
