Sorry to disappoint you Dennis, but the V480 has been EOL for a while.
The V490 is the current box.
You're also two processors behind. The UltraSPARC IV and IV+ (and there
is quite a difference, though you wouldn't necessarily know it from
packaging).
Someone can correct me if I'm wrong, but I believe MPO (memory placement
optimization) alone is good enough reason to strongly consider the newer
OS. Glad you won that battle. :)
