I don't know what wholesale prices are like, but from a retail perspective, the Opteron DC processors have somewhere between a 20% and 65% price premium over the X2 (ranging across both the 512k and 1m cache lines). To me that doesn't seem particularly close. And, the DC Opterons are between 70% and 96% more than the SC Opterons.
