Sun got out of the video card business for SPARC workstations a while
ago and hasn't designed or built a video card in years. Hiring a
whole new team to start up that business again for the incredibly
competetive PC graphics card market just wouldn't make sense - the
established players are consolidating already and have been dropping
like flies for years.
