Hi Amir, "vesa" is the generic VGA mode that XOrg (and XSun and XFree86) support. It's the mode that the Solaris installer will use as a fallback.... you can do a bit with it but you won't get any of the hardware acceleration that native drivers provide. You'll need to re-run "kdmconfig" and choose the "vesa"/"VESA" mode and then see what options are available for resolutions and colour depth. best regards, James C.
