This is a known Java bug: CR 6173972. According to Bugster, it appears to be fixed in a Java version delivered in s10u3, though I haven't verified this myself.
As mentioned earlier, the problem only occurs when NumLock is enabled. You can also work around it by setting the environment variable _AWT_USE_TYPE4_PATCH=false.
