I seriously doubt two or three Solaris users can influence either Marvell or SysKonnect to fix their stuff. It is really not understandable to me that neither companies tested the NIC and the drivers on Solaris throughly. Since that is the case, chances are high they simply don't care. Can you do anything for our case? If the request to fix comes from Sun, it looks more official. Sun has better chances of getting these companies to do something about it than us few Solaris users. We still don't have enough momentum and clout to get the OEMs to better support Solaris.
