Wake on LAN requires that the drivers support the functionality. I don't believe we have any drivers shipping that do that today.
I do remember their being a PSARC case for this functionality to be added to bge - yes it was driver specific. However on snv_50 there appears to be no mention of it in the bge(7D) manual page.
