They're not, hence opensolaris-code et al. The -discuss lists are intended for general discussion about the bit before the "-", so zfs-discuss is for general discussions about ZFS, and so on. opensolaris-discuss is a catch-all for topics that don't fit into a more specific list, or for discussions about OpenSolaris in general.
