The YDL v5.0 release comes with Linux kernel 2.6.17, OpenOffice 2.0.2, Enlightenment E17, GNOME 2.14.2, and KDE 3.5.3. Basically, all of these application ports are available for Solaris so it is POSSIBLE to migrate an OpenSolaris port branched from the Polaris project that can support the same PowerPC-based hardware (see Hardware Breakdown link).
