Well, let's see - I have Solaris 8+10 systems in production where they run
stably for months between maintenance windows, and have carefully
managed changes (if changes are necessary and allowed) put in
rarely. I don't want a gee-whiz-updates-are-painless tool there.

On the other hand, my Solaris Express boxes get refreshed pretty
frequently. (Not every build, maybe every other.) That's the sort of
environment where an easy update tool would be far more useful.
