Aside from being a touchy-feely community easy-name-recognition sort of thing, what problems exactly will one more distro solve that aren't already solved by one or more of {SXCE, SXDE, SchilliX, Belenix, Nexenta, marTux, eventually Polaris, ...} ?
I'm against anything that doesn't have very clear answers to three questions: * what makes it _functionally_ different from all the rest? (I don't give a hoot whether Thompson and Ritchie bless the thing (and get Linus the junior wannabe to say nice things too), whether Sun owns it lock stock and barrel, or whether it's just so very grass roots, I just care what it does and what I can do with it) * what are you going to break to make it different? * where (if at all) are you drawing the line on _not_ breaking compatibility?
