Aside from being a touchy-feely community easy-name-recognition sort of
thing, what problems exactly will one more distro solve that aren't already
solved by one or more of
{SXCE, SXDE, SchilliX, Belenix, Nexenta, marTux, eventually Polaris, ...}  ?

I'm against anything that doesn't have very clear answers to three questions:

* what makes it _functionally_ different from all the rest?  (I don't give a 
hoot
whether Thompson and Ritchie bless the thing (and get Linus the junior
wannabe to say nice things too), whether Sun owns it lock stock and barrel,
or whether it's just so very grass roots, I just care what it does and what I 
can
do with it)

* what are you going to break to make it different?

* where (if at all) are you drawing the line on _not_ breaking compatibility?
