Except that:
* this is opensolaris.org
* OpenSolaris is Nevada, not Solaris 10; different problems, new (and EOLd)
features
* there are other places to go for Solaris 10 and earlier:
  http://www.sun.com/bigadmin/home/
  news:comp.unix.solaris
(http://groups.google.com/groups?group=comp.unix.solaris)
  etc.
and probably,
* if you're using a fully supported release, you ought to be paying $$ so they
can keep
  coming up with cool stuff...

As long as someone either tries to answer a question anyway (and the person in
question
has probably the longest/most active history of answering questions in public
forums of anyone
from Sun that I can think of, so if it were me, I'd cut him a _lot_ of slack),
or at least isn't too
much of a jerk about it, I don't see the problem if they remind the OP that
there are other
places to go to talk about commercially supported Solaris releases. In this
case, I think
that was done quite mildly, I think.
