If you're installing OpenSolaris on a MacBook, or any other machine with an Intel 800/900 series video chip, you might find this useful. 915resolution is a tool that hacks the VBIOS to ensure X11 support for all the native resolution modes. As of this writing, there's no official Solaris port, only a patch which doesn't even work properly without a few tweaks; so I put up a package with the patched sources and a compiled executable. Enjoy.
