Ok, I tried these instructions and they worked too. The problem is, I have already fontforge installed (by following Doug Scotts instructions): http://www.opensolaris.org/jive/thread.jspa?threadID=35866&tstart=0
So could be that your instructions worked, only because I already had the infrastructure set up? If I tried your instructions from the start, wouldnt there be fontforge complaints?
