But that is *completely* inappropriate for any open source software development model, including OpenSolaris. In the context of OpenSolaris no wages are being paid and no money changes hands. This, BTW, includes Sun employees posting here. If you want to approach them as paying customer, you must approach them through the appropriate channels (i.e., sun.com, not opensolaris.org).
