Apparently you did not read what I wrote above. They are NOT the same, not even 
"from the user's perspective", because storage considerations for RAID5 and 
RAIDZ are DIFFERENT.

If you treat RAIDZ as a RAID5 equivalent, you may seriously misconfigure your 
storage.
