Note that for reasonable performance and accessibility, graphics card drivers need to support a variety of Xorg extensions (such as Xrender, Xcomposite, etc). Also Virtual Termainls (VT) is being added back to the kernel around Nevada build 85, and this requires driver support as well. When you say supported, do you mean to imply that these drivers will fully support all needed extensions and other kernel features to fully work? That's what I think when I hear "supported".
