Hi Robin. Not sure if this is a bug, or if your flar archive is corrupt. A few questions:
How soon after you start the install do you get the error? Is it immediate, or does it run for a while first? Have you checked that the archive is not corrupt? Does "flar info -l" work? Were there any errors when the archive was created? Are these systems SPARC or X86? Thanks, Jack Robin du wrote: > Hi list, > > I'm using flar to clone my current system.(machineA) > > #flar create -n robin-system -c robin-system.flar > > And I copy robin-system.flar to another > system(machineB:/export/home/robin/robin-system.flar). > > Now I want to reinstall my current system. > NFS and ftp are verified to work well on machineB. > > When I choose NFS to install flar. > machineB(IP):/export/home/robin/robin-system.flar, > > or I choose FTP to install flar. > host: machineB(IP).
