This 'my shell is better than your shell' flame war has been going on for far too many years. Who cares what shell a person prefers? The OP asked a simple question and all h**l broke loose. I prefer ksh. I've used it since Mr. K wrote it. Two of my fellow SysAdmins use bash. So what? I don't care, as long as they can get their work done.
