I have purchased a new Acer 4720 laptop and have installed opensolaris build 72 on it. While configuring the network using Aminstration->network menu it doesn't detect any network device. I want to know if there is any specific package which i can install so as to activate my network. Also I want to know if there is any package to activate the Wireless LAN in Solaris. Also I have installed the inetmenu package 2.3.2 but it doesn't detect any hardware.
Also I want to know if there is any specific package for the activation of the sound card. Is there any package so that we can access NTFS files from Solaris? -- Prabit Mishra NIT Rourkela.
