Oh thanks... I thought that command would only find installed stuff. And needed the -r to search the repos. But i see that is not the case. I don't have fping installed but: pkg search fping.1m [...] basename file usr/share/man/man1m/fping.1mpkg:/sunwfp...@2.4.2-0.111 Still pgk finds it.
