I'm not so sure. It seems to use the Nvidia MCP7A-ION chipset for lan, and that may or may not be supported with Solaris' current nge driver. Nvidia seems to change the lan controller's pci ids with every new chipset. With a bit of luck you may be able to add the new pci ids to nge's driver binding entries and nge works using "generic" nvidia lan controller hardware, without supporting special features of the MCP7A hardware. Or the nge driver needs some changes to support the new MCP7A version of the chipset. A scanpci -v for such a board would be interesting... (The Realtek RTL8211CL Gigabit PHY attached on the MCP7A lan controller probably isn't a problem) > Otherwise I have seen that there are some display > drives provided by nvidia. Could result in the same problem, nVidia might have invented new pci ids that are not yet known by the "nvidia" kernel module. -- This message posted from opensolaris.org _______________________________________________ opensolaris-discuss mailing list opensolaris-discuss@opensolaris.org
