[osol-discuss] 111b -> 117 update under vmware issue (blank display)

I just updated an opensolaris install under VMWare from 111b to 117.  
Everything went well, system rebooted, console login prompt appeared, X11 
started.  Then the display went black (completely blank) and it's been that way 
ever since.
