One of clients back up all their windows servers via ZFS (using Solaris 10). They use three techniques:

1) Serve all windows networks drives from Solaris.
2) Use iSCSI volumes for specific windows servers.
3) Pull data from stand alone windows boxes with rsync.
I wonder what is a sound plan... it appears with a few experiments
that it may be easier to get error free backups by running the backup
itself from windows.  Perhaps less problems with NTFS style
permissions colliding with unix style.?
ZFS ACLs are a good match for windows ACLs.
