Hi Ken, Thank you for your prompt response, How would I force the xorg.conf file as you have mentioned ; also with 2d acceleration i would still get the same gui isn't it ? I think only features like compiz and animated menus stuff would be missing ?
On the nvidia card, If i get Nvidia 8400gs would that be supported natively or would I have to install it seperately through command line.
