FLAR as seen in Solaris 10 (and previous Solaris releases) does not exist in OpenSolaris. It's going to be replaced with the replication and recovery project. That project hasn't really started rolling yet and so there aren't any materials I can point you at. It's not going to be part of the 2010.02 release however.
