Looks like the bug has been fixed as part:

(from 140678-01)
6744203 systems reporting ereport.cpu.intel.nb.ie

which is part of 139556.

Well, I have Dell 2950 with S10+patches - in particular: 141445-09, 139556-08
and still I'm getting lots of ereport.cpu.intel.nb.ie errors.

So unless I really have an issue with HW the bug has not actually been fixed or 
it re-occured again.
