Using frkit is still very worth while (OK, so I'm biased, but...).  The
only thing to remember is to always run frkit to update the parts it
provides before and after upgrading the OS itself.  Casper fixed this
issue a couple of weeks back.  You may not have seen his emails
explaining this, but if you'd have run frkit before the upgrade, you'd
have not seen this issue anyway. =O}
