Hi All, I am using Opensolaris 5.11 snv_129 i86pc. MB is Asus M3A78-EM with a AMD 5050e CPU 4GB Kingston ECC RAM 4x WD SATA 640 GB HD in RAIDZ 1x WD SATA 320 GB HD for bootup 1x Intel Dual Gigabit NIC on a PCI-E solt
The issue is while i transfer large files via iSCSI (COMSTAR) or CIFS (from OSX 10.6 or Windows 7) the transfer performance is not stable, sometime it can goes up to 100 MB/s and sometime drop down to 1-2 MB/s I used iperf to test the network performance, and the network performance is stable. And i also test the file transfer to the RAIDZ pool or the standalone pool. the performance drop happen in both setup. While i test local write using dd, the performance is very good. Is there any way to trouble shoot that?
