Wow! We've just upgraded(?) to snv_134 (Feb 2010), and are seeing [i]both[/i] of the problems you describe:
ON SSH: PTY allocation request failed on channel 0 and the various hotplugging error messages. and don't have a /dev/ptmx directory [i]at all[/i] after our recent upgrade to snv_134 - should we? To round things out, we cannot type at all into a terminal window...
