Thanks for the tip, particularly about making it automatic! I'd been keeping up with deleting packages and destroying old boot environments, and removed the old virtual disk files in .Virtualbox from my home directory. But I think there's still something like 10-20 GB of junk spread around, unless I'm completely missing something.
Given that I have 10 GB of RAM, are there any recommendations on sizing /swap? Is there any reason to keep /swap and /dump on the SSD?
