Yeah.  And your point?  It doesn't matter, because the interface is still 
brought up.  It has to be moved to something like .ifcfg-eth0 or NOifcfg-eth0.

The fact is hostname.ce0.orig still contains hostname.ce0.  This is the same 
behavior that RHEL exhibits.

It also must be more than /etc/hostname.*[0-9] because of bge0:1 which would be 
neglected using *[0-9] only.  Also, aggregate interfaces would be missed if 
hostname.aggr240 was used.
