It's quite easy to compile it yourself. Besides that: I did open that RFE some time ago, and it had been excepted and executed upon, if I remember correctly. So, in any newer OpenSolaris or Solaris 11 Express version, that sasl support should be in, afaik... But: I don't know, which version/build will contain that support...
