I am running Windows 7 64bit at home as a host, and Windows XP, OpenSolaris and OpenIndiana as guests under VirtualBox. No problems at all. I think that VirtualBox should behave similarly under OpenSolaris as a host. I am also running OpenSolaris at work (university) on an old machine with only 1GB of RAM. It causes no problems either.
