I put a LSI SAS-3800X on my Sun Blade 2000, and it works fine. (I am using it with SAS rather than SATA drives, but it should work with either. Right now, I have a pair of 1TB drives and a pair of 2TB drives, all Seagate, in an enhance-tech E8-ML 8 slot JBOD enclosure.) It's normally a fairly expensive item, but I lucked into one on eBay back then; I think someone must have bought a 3-pack and only needed 2, or something like that. -- This message posted from opensolaris.org _______________________________________________ opensolaris-discuss mailing list opensolaris-discuss@opensolaris.org
