i thought i successfully installed solaris 10 5/08 on my optiplex 740, but when the register pop-up appeared, it failed due to lack of network connection.
ifconfig only shows the lo0 loopback configured. i have the Broadcom 5754 Gb NIC it came with. FYI- The LAN uses DHCP. How do I get this on the net? This message posted from opensolaris.org
