OpenSolaris has to be installed into a primary partition *and* I am 
reasonably certain that the primary partition you install it into has to 
be placed before any extended partition (if you have an extended 
partition on the disk).

It looks like from the screen shot that you sent that you have an 
extended partition that is 7.6gb - or at least, that is how the 
OpenSolaris installer is interpreting your system's partition table.

What is in that 7.6gb partition?
