I have a PC that in strict terms used to be a Compaq Presario 5000, but has
been upgraded over time to an Athlon 2800 and 1GB of RAM but still has an
ancient Compaq IDE DVD-ROM. I also have a Solaris Express Developer Edition
2/07 DVD.

The DVD boots and I get the grub boot info. Regardless of what I select and
which installation type I choose, I inevitably end up with the following text:

"hsfs mount: /dev/dsk/c2t1d0p0 is not an hsfs file system."

Depending on which option I select, I also get other text about only installing
from a DVD, or picking just "Solaris Express" rather than "Solaris Express,
Developer Edition". In the end, the install dies here with the hsfs mount
question.

I've tried the "atapi-cd-dma-enabled=1" fix, but that seems to have no effect.

Anyone with a similar experience or some advice?
